Antar Cafeteria
Quick and calorific cuisine in Al Wasl 2 Reviews
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008
Antar is not going to be posing a threat to the city’s more refined eateries anytime soon, set as it is by a sandpit in which four of the six customers it can accommodate at any one time must perch. But if it’s cheap and tasty calories you’re after, you could do a lot worse.
The Dhs3 chicken burger is a slab of spicy meat smothered in ketchup, relish, cheese and onion, and is perfect for a quick snack. There are also trays of spicy prawns and a chicken/mushroom combo which can be sealed in a crispy toasted baguette with mayonnaise and hot sauce for a pittance.
Their mango ice-cream and strawberry shakes are both wonderful too. Park up next to the big mosque on Al Wasl Road and if you want, you can have the food delivered to your car.
