From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2011
At the heart of Atlantis is Saffron, a busy, bustling restaurant that could well be one of Dubai's largest and most vibrant. Priding itself on its mammoth range of twenty or so international food stations, offering everything from Mongolian to French, Saffron really impresses. All too often with buffets of this scale, something has to give, but Saffron is a well-steered ship and the floor service is ever present, while the many cooks furiously work to keep the crowds of demanding guests satisfied.
Take your time though, take a walk and gauge what's on offer before you plunge in as, if planned well, one can easily spend the evening here. With so much variety here from lobster bisque, Chinese spiced rabbit and Thai wok-fried quail to name a few, there's an overwhelming heap of good, if not excellent international food. You actually may leave a little hard-pressed to remember what exactly you've eaten when the bill arrives, but it's safe to say there'll be something for everyone here. Saffron may not quite be ten out of ten but it's certainly not far off.
