It’s regrettable to judge a book by its cover, but it’s unfortunate to miss it altogether just because it was stacked away in an unlikely corner of the store. Kebab Korner, tucked inside the Howard Johnson (formerly Highland City) hotel at one end of Bur Dubai’s ‘Computer Street’, serves a wide range of kebabs and some scrumptious curries cooked in the dum style. While the kebabs are good, they are not exceptional; but the curries here are refreshingly different. The smoke-flavoured murgh begum bahar is a pleasant surprise, and even the popular fare such as choosa makhani and paneer-stuffed dum aloo Bhojpuri are top class.

But what truly marks out Kebab Korner is its décor that carries you straight into the earthy settings of rural Rajasthan - complete with the mud-smeared walls, straw-matted ceilings, ornate window screens, bead curtains and hanging puppets. The ethnic effect is augmented by the live music and dance performance in the late evenings. The reasonable amount on the food bill ensures that one carries that pleasure even after exiting Kebab Korner.

i went yesterday for food there. its a lovely place with very good interior, we when near 9:00pm there were very few people there for food, the staff is very polite and respectful and when ask for dish suggestion will polity describe each dish for you. the singers are amazing, there voice is soo good feels like sitting there for hours there and listen to them, even we can request for a song too, dance performance are quite decent as if you go out there with family you will not feel embarrassed, its kind of dance performance where you feels like clapping for the dancer, really nice place to be at enjoyed it. Beware the prices are a bit high.

We had a special celebbration for our mom's birthday. From the planning till the end of the meal everyone, from the manager to the waiter made sure mom and all of us felt special. The singers were outstanding, The food was good. overall we were very satisfied. In fact this place is good for family, busines, and if you just want to enjoy a romantic dinner. The singers were outstanding. The kids were all comfortably sitting in teh cozy lounge area. If you have a special evening planned fr a special someone do call Asif, the manager, he is so coopeartive and gives you the right suggestions for your tastes This was voted as our number one spot by our family for our gathering. I agree with Accs... "TRULY A HIDDEN GEM"

Not a refined place. Kebab Korner is in the grey zone between a restaurant and a night club. Singing was just that, singing, and not a performance. Would have sounded better if the restaurant was bigger and more spaced out. During break in the singing a girl starts doing dance numbers. A girl dancing in a practically empty restaurant and the few guests there showing complete disinterest. A pathetic sight indeed. Not a place for family with kids.

Galouti kebab and daria -e-aag were decent enough. Service was prompt and pleasing.

wonderful dine in the restaurant ecspecially batti ka murgh perfect blend of spices and juicy from inside and perectly grilled,and soft warqi paratha melts in your mouth.
best music of your choice of latest beats and the gazals of the old memories overall aa the best to all the team.

the restaurant is not only vegetarian it also serves a wide varity of mouth watering non vegetarian kebabs and curries and the one which i like the most is the kakori and the galawti
they are the chefs signature dishes
the musicians are outstanding from the oldest collections to the sizzeling new numbers
they have it all

Had a great night at Kebab Korner. The food was fabulous, with an extensive choice of very tatsy kebabs. Loved the fish in mustard sauce. Very good. Enjoyed the vegetarian curry options too, the brinjal in particular.
The service always with a smile, very attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful live music. Liked very much the choice of seating too. Chose to sit in the lounge area. A good choice, very relaxed.
Will bring a group of friends next time.

Thank you Kebab Korner. Truly a hidden gem!
