You could be forgiven for thinking that the entire Village mall on Jumeirah Beach Road is actually one large Shakespeare & Co cafe, as the (love it or hate it) chintz sofas and chairs spill out of the corner cafe and across the mall floor. However, hidden behind the floral fiesta is Thai Time, a perfectly adequate restaurant, but sadly one severely lacking in any kind of life. The menu however is split visibly between veggie and non veggie dishes with all the main staples covered along with some more interesting Thai salads. Although the dishes taste fresh and come as large portions (the pad Thai is literally huge), if you like your Thai with a kick, refrain from asking for ‘medium spice’ and go all the way. Sadly though with no atmosphere, and average food, Thai Time isn’t going to be the time of your life.
