This unashamedly bog-standard bar is one of the better places in Dubai to fill up unashamedly bog-standard pub grub. Oddly, the only menus are on the walls – so to study them properly you have to take them down, squint rapidly, and make a rushed choice in front of the bar. Which is a shame, because there’s a decent selection of dishes on offer. Alongside your American staples of burgers and steaks rests British family favourites like shepherd’s pie and fish and chips, and more locally-inspired options like a prawn curry and biryani. Prices are very fair and service is friendly but snail’s-paced. But for fine familiar foodstuffs in a no-nonsense environment you can’t go too wrong.

Exceptional pub grub here, good range of beers, nice layout. Popular for lunch with the city-types. The pub has little character but is friendly and there is usually plenty of room...."

Great place where you can be a part of the crowd or in a world of your own thanks to the individual TV monitors as also the larger ones on the wall. The service is easy going and pleasant. The food takes some time in coming but it gives you the idea that it's being freshly prepared. The New Zealand steak with mashed potatoes, mushroom and sauce was satisfactory. Not expensive either. That, with a pint of beer coming to Dhs. 98.
The sore point was that if you are sitting on one of the tables with the individual monitors then yo have to turn your head to the either sides to watch the TV.
On the plus side they have an exotic meat dish which I wouldn't reveal now. Go find out!
