Renovated in early 2012, Legends’ sloping, canopy ceiling now houses a sleek dark-wood interior, glinting tableware and elevated booths for extra privacy. There’s also an extensive outdoor deck, with great views of the golf course. Starters are fun an innovative, featuring bite-size dishes such as scotched quail egg, dates and foie gras, and blue-cheese spring roll. Tenderloin steak is served in a flurry of showmanship – flambéed at the table, no less – while the rib-eye is juicy and tender. Desserts are limited to light refreshing sorbet and ice cream, which are followed by espresso and a selection of complimentary gourmet chocolates. A welcome addition to Dubai’s already saturated steakhouse scene.
