Tony Roma’s dishes up a fairly standard selection of American-style favourites at family-friendly prices. The menu lists an assortment of chicken, ribs, steaks and seafood, plus some sizeable-looking salads and sandwiches – nothing too ground-breaking, but enough to sate your appetite mid-mall trawl. On the plus side, many dishes can be served in half portions (great for those with smaller appetites); on the downside, soft drinks only come with one refill (compared with the unlimited refills offered at rivals such as Roadster Diner). Service is friendly enough and portions are generous, but much of the food has a rather synthetic taste. Not bad for families or those with big appetites, but rather uninspiring for the rest of us.
