Even closer to the resort’s private beach than nearby The Anchor, Captain’s is well placed to watch the sun set over the Arabian Gulf, and a wonderful place to enjoy a unique ‘old-school’ expatriate feel that is difficult to come by in Dubai these days. Tuck into grilled meats from the barbecue, dishes such as fish and chips or Japanese prawn tempura, chicken satay with Malaysian peanut butter sauce or lamb chops.
