Armani’s casual dining venture has a couple of haute surprises Reviews

Casual meets contemporary at Armani’s all-day dining restaurant. Dishes range from average to astounding and, as you’ll guess from the name, feature a range of Mediterranean specialties predominantly from Greece and Italy. Decent desserts can be acquired from the buffet and prices are, on the whole, more affordable than elsewhere in the hotel. Worth a try if you want to sample a spot of Armani without forking out too much.

We went for the Iftar special today, food quality was extremely disappointing. It was without flavour, cold and had dried out, the pizza was curling around the edges!! as was the roasted herb crusted red snapper. What a shame, it looked so good. The cheese in the pasta had congealed, making it a solid lump, the same problem with the kanafe, it was rubbery, and difficult to cut. Even the espresso sucked!

The 2 stars for 'value' are for the fabulous view!!
