With muted decor, gentle background music and exquisitely polite service, The China Club feels a world away from Baniyas Street on the other side of the window. Featuring Peking, Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine, the menu is lengthy, but the knowledgeable staff will happily guide you through. To begin, there’s a large and tasty choice of steamed and fried dim sum – otherwise the roasted meat platter of duck, chicken and beef is a perfect appetiser for sharing – the meat succulent and tender, perfectly complemented by a light soy marinade. For mains, don’t miss the double cooked duck that’s crispy and packed full of flavour, while the black cod with spring onion and soya is delicate and melt-in-the-mouth. Well worth a visit.

honestly, the best chinese restaurant that i have been so far to has to be this hole in the wall kind of place called "Nobel House" in imperial suites at bur dubai, on rolla street. Excellent food, great customer service and a cozy ambience. I've been to most chinese restaurants in dubai, but nothing beats the experience i have again and again at Nobel House. Not once have i been there and went, oh today the food was bad or the service was rude. Can you imagine, getting it right every single time. It's like the mcdonalds of the chinese restaurants in dubai :)

That said, I am equally in love with china garden. I simply love the schezwan crispy beef. I keep recommending this place to all my colleagues and so far whoever have been here, they have enjoyed the food.

This restaurant has really gone down in it's service and food. We have been there many times before and always thought it was a great Yum Cha. Last week, it was shocking - very bad service - no one came to our table to take any drinks order or even provide and tea or food. We had to get the Hostess attention so that she could ask one of the waiters to visit our table. The food was tasteless and dry, we the ordered a couple of a la carte dishes which were actually worse than the Yum Cha.

Went to this restaurant yesterday evening with friends who had dined there a few years ago while on holiday in Dubai and who thought it was one of the best chinese meals they had at that time.

Unfortunately, it must have gone downhill since then. The Dim Sum's were nice, the Peking Duck was good, but all five main courses were pretty terrible, when we mentioned to one of the staff about 1 dish which was partcularly bad, he looked at us with a smile and said 'Thank You for your comments' ! Everyone left terribly disappointed and we would not go back there and would not recommend it.

We celebrate the Chinese New Year at The China Club. Thanks Time Out Dubai for the feature and for all the earlier feedback that made us decide to go there.

We almost love all the food but the manner of serving was different from what we expect. There was 1 dish we didn't particularly like but the rest were amazing! Love the duck, love their wrap, love the dimsum & siomai, and the service was not perfect but the point that they are always smiling when they get near you is superb.

Excellent. I chose this

We had some dim sum dishes as starters so I can vouch for the quality of those but dim sum is really for the afternoon so we then hit the a la carte. It was pretty quiet when we went which perhaps gave the kitchen more chance to shine but shine they certainly did with dishes as good as we've had in Chinese banquets in Beijing. Standouts for us were the Hammour with spring onions in soy sauce and szechuan crispy beef.

I've put this as Family Friendly although the kids weren't with us. Go as a group of 4+ so that you can try a greater variety of dishes and you will have a meal to remember and great value with as well.

everything was great at my first visit to the china club restaurant and it will be good if they open for business at an earlier timing why not yum cha for breakfast..? peach tea was excellent! i will go there again and again for sure.

I've been there so many times and I really love the food and their service as well.From the entrance to dining and the very accommodating staff there's no reason why so many people are always dine there.
