This picturesque venue overlooking the 18th hole of The Montgomerie Golf Course (thus the name, see?) provides pleasant respite from towering apartment buildings and bustling streets. As such, a table on the terrace is highly recommended, especially since inside is a little dark and increasingly dated. The menu attempts rotisserie-style food, which can be complemented by an impressive selection of vintages. However, while dishes are competently prepared, they lack sufficient imagination and flair to make Nineteen one of the memorable venues in town. As such, we’d recommend visiting for the brunch (a great option in cooler months) or one of the restaurants many themed evenings – such as its Battle of the Chefs, blind tastings, or Saturday roasts.

WE WERE EXPECTING A LOT MORE FROM THIS RESTAURANT.THE FOOD WAS VERY BORING AND DISPLAYED UNINTICINGLY.THEY WERE STILL LAYING OUT THE SMALL POOR OFFERING 25 MINS AFTER THE BRUNCH HAD STARTED. THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE, BUT SLOW.THE RESTAURANT WAS NEARLY EMPTY DONT KNOW HOW THEY WOULD GET ON IF IT WAS BUSY.

What have they done to Nineteen?
What, not so long ago, used to be one of the best, and smartest, brunches (that includes the Saturday carvery) is now mediocre, at best.
The food choice is uninspiring compared to our previous visits (gone are the great salad and seafood selections, the variety of cheeses and the yummy puddings)
There seems to be no dress code anymore. (thongs, shorts and tattoos are now acceptable).
One of the delights of brunch at Nineteen used to be going back to try the wonderful variety of food - those days have gone as you can now get the whole selection on one, small, plate.
The new Rotisserie (second hand from another Address restaurant, so the staff said) kept falling apart!
We got the impression the management are trying to save money or whoever is now running Nineteen doesn't know what is available eslewhere in Dubai
Great shame but we won't be going back in a hurry

We had some guests over and we wanted to take them to one of the best brunches in Dubai, since they've already been to Al Qasr and we wanted something less extravagant, we thought Nineteen would be our best choice, and what a choice. It was the most DISSAPOINTING brunch we've ever been to:
- The food variety was at its minimal: 3 types of cheese, a salad bar with the basics, 4 different main menus each smaller than the other (we actually had to order 2 main menus to satisfy our appetite)
- One our guests was allergic to dairy products so we asked his steak fillet to come with French fries rather than buttery mash, but oh no the chef couldn't pull any other form of potatoes but the mash, and what a mash...TGI Friday's does it better.
- Only serving 2 types of alcohol
- The desert buffet was ok but again little variety in even smaller portions.

All in all extremely disappointing experience, of course the decor was very nice and the view amazing, but you don't go to a restaurant for the decor nor the view, you go there for the food.
For a restaurant that has won 4 Time Out Awards for its brunch, we honestly couldn't see the reason!
