Despite a somewhat curious name and the mall location, Salmontini has a distinct European feel to it. With wooden finishing, compelling art and towering windows overlooking the Ski Dubai, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were dining in Vienna or Nantes rather than Barsha. The restaurant prides itself, needless to say, on its seafood and, true to its word, it delivers. While the salmon is delightfully fresh (being smoked in-house), it’s the spicy tuna salad which really excites: finely diced cubes of tuna coated with tempura crumbs, laced together with hints of chilli and served on a crisp bed of lettuce. Sign off the evening with a textbook apple tart, chuck in some sharp, typically high-end European-style service and, all in all, you have a reasonably affordable, quality meal.

WE WENT FOR A NICE ANNIVERSARY DINNER AND WERE PRETTY IMPRESSED WITH HOW FRESH THE SALMON WAS AND THE VARIOUS SALMON PREPARATIONS! WE ENJOYED THE EVENING AND WOULD RECOMMEND THE PLACE TO A SALMON LOVER :)

My husband and I were looking for somewhere nice to have lunch in the Mall when we saw Salmontini. Both loving seafood, we decided to choose the restaurant. We were not disappointed. Starting with the appetizer sample plate, we were 'sold'. Choices of wonderful salmon prepared in various ways, including marinated in beets! A little apprehensive it became our favorite, especially with the honey sauce. Anyone who would enter a seafood restaurant of this caliber and order steak should certainly not be taken seriously. The staff was attentive, but allowed us to enjoy the view and answered questions about the preparation of each dish when asked. When visiting Dubai again, which will be soon, we are planning dinner.

Salmontini is a restaurant located in the Mall of Emirates, specializing in salmon as its name suggests. Its main advantage is that it has a view on the ski slope (main reason for our visit as my guest wanted to see it ....). The card also offers apart from salmon to any sauces as an appetizer or main course, soups, salads, some grills, and Japanese cuisine through a choice of many sushi.

The framework is quite chic, but cozy tables are quite close together. The service is fast but big disappointment at the host (hostess cold as a garage door) and service (too many servers that run as propellers, which pour water every 30 seconds and dispose the dishes at lightning speed ...)

So far our choices were:
- Salad with tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto
- Tagliatelle with salmon
- Fillet of beef with pepper sauce, potato gratin.
- 1l San Pellegrino

Upon arrival, a basket of bread is presented to us (white bread and cereals) with butter.
The salad of tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto was properly seasoned with the taste. My guest has enjoyed his pasta, served hot and topped with chunks of salmon.
My fillet steak was cooked to my request "medium well" with a pretty scalloped potatoes, a tomato pesto gratin and two tablespoons of mashed (substitution of broccoli which I am not fond).

In the end, the food is good, with a nice view but it is marred by the eagerness of servers that prevents enjoying a meal in peace.
Total price for the menu that day AED 345.

To improve the welcome, service, service, and finally the service ...........

Very nice experience. Service was fast, staff very accomodating. We went there without a reservation and only had less than an hour to stay due cos of appointment but we were seated and accomodated right away. We missed dessert tho as we were in a hurry...so next time then....:)

Well, I went to this restaurant more than once, and I always order the same: Salmon boat! It is an amazing mixture of salmon cuts enhanced by various condiments. For non-cooked salmon lovers (like me) it is just heavenly! I should go there for a thir (or is it a fourth) visit just to try out the other goodies!

Went for lunch with two girl friends. I had the Tuna steak which was simply delicious. Cannot fault the place ! Would def recommend. Would also suggest it would be a lovely place for a romantic dinner. We had the table right next to the window looking into ski dubai - very nice.

I visit Salmontinis almost weekly with my wife or business partners from around the world.

Food is always fresh and tasty. Service is great even when they are busy.

Every single salmon dish on the menu was over-salted, as is most food in Dubai. Disgusting.
