Biella
An in-mall Italian with white tablecloths and a swanky feel 2 Reviews
Dotted across the city’s many malls, this chain boasts white tablecloths and slick staff, making it a good option for a business lunch. As soon as you arrive you’ll be greeted with focaccia and breadsticks, which are passable (but not delicious enough to ruin the appetite), while starters are varied – the tangy beef carpaccio is good, but the fried calamari has proven soggy and uninspired. Pizzas are decent enough, with a thin crust and ample toppings, but can be served either under- or overcooked, depending on the day. While Biella isn’t a destination restaurant, it’s worth a visit if you’re in Dubai Festival Centre and are hankering for antipasti.
