Traditional Italian food in Le Meridien Dubai Reviews

From the rustic, laid-back decor to the lilting Italian tones of the maitre’d, it’s almost possible to believe that the venue was plucked from a Sicilian village and repositioned amid the charming candlelit terraces of the Méridien Dubai. The menu runs the gamut from traditional pizza and pasta to meat and fish options, with many of the ingredients imported from Italy. In keeping with the homely ambience, the food is fresh, flavoursome and unfussy, allowing the ingredients (and the chef’s flair) to shine through. The venue’s buzzing atmosphere helps to seal the deal – word of this great little eatery has obviously spread like wildfire among expats and Emiratis alike, and you’ll be hard-pushed to find a table at weekends.

I have dined many times at Casa Mia and have never failed to have a good meal, with a warm welcome back once you have been more than once. The menu is varied and there is always the possibility of having something prepared that is no longer on the menu - a sure sign of the staff going the extra mile.
During the winter months being able to sit outside is a real bonus and the ambience is really nice, even with the aircraft taking off from the nearby airport

This place is a gem.

I do not want to say too much good about the place - as I do not want the word to get out.

But it is as close to perfect as you can get.

An Italian chef, classic Italian dishes, an extensive choice of wines and real Italian pizzas.

If you want authentic Italian food - this is the place to go in Dubai.

The only downside is the proximity to Jules Bar and the Terrace - but sit inside and that problem can be avoided.
