Cucina goes for the traditional Italian theme with flair 3 Reviews

The JW Marriott has attempted to recreate a 'traditional' Italian venue within the walls of its mammoth hotel - and has almost succeeded. Yet the faux-rustic decor, complete with shuttered windows, heavy wooden furniture and a huge pizza oven, feels just a little too Disneyland to be authentic. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly enough and the atmosphere is laid-back and convivial; another major plus point is that the venue is licensed, meaning there's plenty of proper Italian cured meat on the menu (after all, nothing ruins a pizza like beef salami). If anything, some of the food can be a little heavy on the oil, but those with a hankering for Italian carbs will leave satiated.

I chose this venue to celebrate my spouse's birthday,and I'm glad I did so. Right from the ambience to the service to the quality of food served, everything was perfect.Being a vegetarian,there were not too many options in the main course, but whatever served was fresh,hot and delicious.They also have an extensive wine list.Do try the 4 cheese pizza & the tiramisu.And are we eager to go back!!
