Considering the rude behaivour of the Restaurant Manager, i wouldnt go to this restaurant ever again. Perhaps there are many other italian restaurants in town which offer better food & customer service.

We thought we made a mistake by ordering a wrong pizza and the tiramisu might compensate for this, only to find that pizza was actually a lot better tasting than the tiramisu which apparently is their signature dessert.The only thing going for this restaurant is the decor and ambience.Not the worst Italian joint but not good either.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant many many times in the past and loved its food, service and ambiance. We decided to go to spend St Valentines day dinner there. We were greatly disappointed with everything from A to Z. They had a terrible set menu for the night with the cheapest choices one can have both in terms of prices and quality. Perhaps they did that to attract people for the night. But it was enough for us to leave thinking that would be the last time we will go there. The bad taste even removed the romance of the occasion.

We went for our anniversary and heard about the restaurant from a friend. I surprised my wife and we got one of the private booth. They nicely arranged decorations and service was very good. The food is amazingly good italian food. It is really what you eat in Italy and what a european person expects of it. The Manager is a great character, handling guests well and seeming to be good with his staff. Working in a restaurant in Dubai myself I can only say thumbs up, this is a truely great dining experience in Dubai which you can afford.

I have to say that this is my favorite Italian Restaurant in Dubai. Service is excellent, Menu choice is amazing, they keep it updated and prices are very good. You do get value for money that you do not expect...and this place is open for 20 years now....
They have my vote for the best restaurant in Dubai!

Went for dinner last night for my sister's wedding anniversary. We were a party of 10. First we did not get a table as according to their management rules they cannot accommodate so many people on the ground floor. So we moved upstairs where the air conditioning was not working properly and even the lights were very dim. we were provided only 1 table fan and the 10 of us had 2 adjust with that. We even tried complaining to the new manager, Khalid. He was very rude to us and did nothing to help us. The food was fine which made us stay and finish our dinner. But this is 1 restaurant we have been going to for a long time and after last night we will not going again.

The last few times I have visited Da Vinci's, I have met staff that always appear to be cheerful and never seem dissatisfied with their job. Though the only view offered is of the busy traffic outside, the restaurant quite easily makes up for it with their excellent quality of food. From their exquisite penne pasta to their soft and smooth margarita pizza, Da Vinci’s never fails to impress even those of highly critical minds. A further positive is that, if you tell the restaurant before hand that it is a companion’s birthday, they will offer the chance for the staff to personally sing to the specific person and hand them a birthday cake, making it much more family friendly than other restaurants.

Food was just ok; nothing spectacular to talk about; menu had a good variety; decor & ambience were fine. Prices were surprisingly low considering it was in a 4-star hotel.

Last time I was there, I think that there were 4 birthdays in the evening.

This led to all of the staff singing happy birthday on 4 separate occasions - loudly and disturnbing all other diners. Why not do all four at the same time?
