Seaworld
Horribly incompetent service lets down Asiana Hotel restaurant 5 Reviews

- Picture 1 of 2

Seaworld, formerly of Sheikh Zayed Road, relocated to the Asiana Hotel in mid-2011. It’s now far more upmarket, though the menu still features a world of seafood options. When it first opened, service was horrible, but this has now improved. Waitresses accompany you to the incredibly long ice bed displaying everything from local hammour and sultan to snapper, sea bream, shrimp and lobster.
Dishes such as sautéed red snapper and steamed sea bass in chilli and lemon sauce, with asparagus in oyster sauce as a side, prove competently done, though they don’t quite match the flavourful ‘cup mussels’. To avoid dining alone, visit at the weekend and be prepared for some (if not all) of your order to be lost in translation, since the majority of the staff speak better Chinese and Korean than they do English. However, when the food arrives, you won’t be disappointed.
