Al Hallab

A Lebanese dining institution with three branches, all bursting with character 11 Reviews

This Lebanese brand (which began in 1881 as a sweet shop in Tripoli) conducts itself with all of the confidence of an institution – the gaggles of waiters (there seems to be someone whose sole job is to pass you post-dinner towels) swan around with confidence, the interiors are unapologetically grandiose, with neoclassical frescoes adorning the arched ceiling and the food is top of the class. The shawarmas are juicy and well-cooked, the bread is always fresh and the grills well marinated and soft. With Dubai Fountain views from its terrace, and views out to the fountain inside of The Dubai Mall from its interior, there are few better places to take visitors for the prerequisite sampling of Dubai’s excellent Levantine cuisine.

The best Lebanese food .. The mezza is very nice to share if you don't want a whole dish, you can just have a selection of great appetizers. It is highly recommended.

okay i knew that it is a Lebanese restaurant but i think they should think twice before they hire Lebanese waiters , when you try to ask your server to take the order he ignore you and try to serve ladies tables first even if they came after you , that way of waters accent during speak made you feel that they was prime minsters before the come and work as waiters

Al Hallab is not only one of the best Lebanese restaurants in town, it has an amazing view when the weather permits... overlooking the fountains and Burj Khalifa.

To top it all, prices are really affordable, making you wonder how much profit the other restaurants make.

I have been at Al Hallab over 10 times and have never been dissappointed; I highly recommend it.
