With modest if not slightly tacky decor, Istanbul Flower is an unassuming restaurant to put it mildly. But you don’t visit Istanbul Flower for the visuals – you visit for the wholly authentic fare that has made the restaurant a surefire hit with the local Turkish community. The home-made cooking style and attention to detail makes relatively simple food absolutely divine. The only detraction are the sauces served at the beginning – while they appear to be a complementary precursor to the meal, you are in fact charged for them. Cheeky. As you’d expect from any good Turkish restaurant, the menu is as meat heavy, containing all favourites such as kebabs to the Iskender – a mix of succulent meats laid on the bed of rich labneh. Highly recommended.

Service was very good and teh bread was sooo delicious alos teh appetizers and salad but i ordered iskandar kabab for me and shawarma chicken for my wife , they were fully covered with butter and full of fat , so we left the plate untouched and left
price was normal 160 aed for appetizers, salad , mian dishes and juice

Service is very good and the salads and appetizers are delicious but the main dish (iskandar kabab and iskandar chawarma) that i ordered was sooo fattt and we didn't eat anything from the meal (already served with rice) , i asked why they are fat like this , i knew that they add alot of butter on top of meat and chicken, but they said that the normal kabab will be fat and butter free, the price was ok salades, 2 main dish and orange juice for 130 AED, so next time i will order normal kabab and post my comments hope it will be positive

I used to liv en Tukkey and I know what the turkish food is. I even manage cooking few of them. Unfortuntely in Dubai there are not many option for Turkish Cuisine.

Here i would say Istanbul Flower is better than all other, but anyway you will not have the same taste as it is in Turkey.

Another, very disappointin gthing is they charge for water an dthe salads, which they brin gand put without asking. I was shocked when they asked me to pay for th ebottle of water which did not even touch!!!!! When you try to explain, they will not listen to you. So to save my time, I paid the small amount.

I will go again to this restaurant, as I told before, there are no better options :(

I often go to both Istanbul Flower Restaurants.You could have a business, family, or a romantic dinner in HealthCare City branch, the one which is on Shaik Zaed Road you could go for lunch, business meeting.... Foods,salads and sweets are perfect, but of course if you want any perfect national cuisine you have to travel original country, you can not really have in mid of desert to find the same quality of product wich they have in Turkey.....

Went last saturday with a friend.. not at all worth your time and money

they charged me for the salad which I didn't order n water which I didn't drink

Great food...good value. Excellent cheese bread(turkish pizza),.moutabel, pimento relish, spicy tomato relish, hummus, lentil soup all highly recommended!

Iskander Kabab was great , The Doner a bit too arabic for my liking.
Went there (Two adults) stuffed ourselves and ended up paying just above 100 DHS.

you know what?we go to stanbul flower in dubai health care city branch,then we ordered kofta,grilled chicken and our drinks was apple juice and watermelon juice,maybe if i ranked the food from 1 to 10 maybe its 3 because the food there was not good,they say that turkish food but its not,and you know what in the middle of our eating there somebody shouting inside the kitchen and they are fighting they are both guy,what kind of restaurant is this?they say its romantic but its not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!mayb we didnt go back there again!!!!

istanbul flower restaurant new branch is now open located in DUBAI HEALTH CARE CITY,WAFI CITY,INFRONT OF CANADIAN HOSPITAL.
good and quick service,nice place,have an extra tables outside for who wants fresh air.

Went to this place with the family after reading the 'rave' review. I'd been looking forward to the Iskander kebab more than anything so arrived in anticipation. What a let down.

We arrived after Iftaar to be shoved onto a table for 4 when there were 5 of us, before being presented with a bottle of orange juice, water and various salads etc non of which we wanted or asked for. When I asked for it to be taken away were told it was a fixed iftar menu and we had to have it at dhs 40 a go!! Bamboozled We asked for a menu and ordered the Iskander without tomato sauce. 'Large sweaty morsals of tender meat' the review above said. Not here they're not! It was a Shwarma. When I asked what the difference between a shwarma and the Iskander was I was told..tomoto sauce.
Awful service (at one point the waiter walked away never to return when I was talking to him), bland cold food and expensive for what it is. We walked away after spending 200 dhs (2 adults - three kids) feeling very deflated. Do not bother.

Taste is never like real Turkish food.
Food served cooled down.
They charge you extra with salad, meze (they bring you without asking) and the water on the table that even you do not touch.
Value is high for two for such service and quality.

I do not understand that this restaurant is highly recommended in the Time Out Restaurant Awards. We visited it in the weekend (on April 4), and were extremely disappointed. I expected some "real" Turkish food, but it just seemed to be another Lebanese food place, and one of the worst ones in town. The french fries were soggy, there was barely any chicken in my chicken kebab, and the service was horrible! Only the fattoush and tahine are worth mentioning.
