Cedar Tree
Cedar Tree serves lukewarm Lebanese fare in a non-descript setting 4 Reviews

- Picture 1 of 2

This non-descript Lebanese restaurant by the name of Cedar Tree, is an ‘authentic Lebanese restaurant’ that serves, well, authentic Lebanese cuisine (ignoring the smattering of hotdogs and other seemingly un-Lebanese dishes). The warak enab (tomato wrapped in vine leaf) offers respite to the dry, wholly unappetising bread served beforehand, while specials such as sayadieh bi samak represent welcome originality to the menu – three plump dumplings arranged neatly alongside a neat pile of rice with sesame seeds and crispy caramelised onions. Though dishes are abundant in flavour, they have been known to be served lukewarm. However, go on a good day and you could do far worse than a lunchtime stop at Cedar Tree.
