A budget option for a simple tea with a Moroccan twist. Dhs77 (Almaz), Dhs49 (Maghrebine) Timings: 3pm-5.30pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

This Moroccan eatery is possibly one of Mall of the Emirates’ best kept secrets – to find it one must journey up to the second level of the mall. Diners are greeted with luxurious couches, low-hanging and intricately designed lighting and intimate seating areas, while oriental music adds to the atmosphere. It’s easy to forget that you’re eating in a mall. In order to be faithful to the concept, try one of the restaurant’s tagines and the pigeon pastilla. Portions are generous considering the price, and what’s more, food is light, leaving you satiated but not to the point of being stuffed. Fresh ingredients are immediately recognisable, and it’s worth noting trying to finish a pot of tea for one can easily add a few hours to an already relaxed meal. Trying to find this Moroccan needle within the haystack of high street stores is certainly worth the effort.

Best Morrocean Tea in town! We had few birthday surprise parties there and it was super wonderful! Love most of the drinks, mezzah, and desserts there and also shisha but didnt like the moroccean foods much! But very nice place to chill in the afternoon!

I go to Almaz all the time it is just amazing the food is fantastic and the staff are very polite and friendly, the shisha is the best in Dubai very clean. I love the place and it is my favorite restaurant in Dubai

Simply one of the best restaurants in Dubai. The food is amazing, always same standards of excellent quality. The Staff are so friendly & nice. The decor is lovely & music is great.

I have never been disappointed & have been going there regularly for the last 3 years. I don't know how anyone could ever give a bad review on Almaz - this place should win all the awards there are.

The iftar buffet in Ramadan is absolutely fantastic. Large variety, moroccan and middle eastern, best dessert and best salads, and home cooked tagines. Outside Ramadan? less fantastic, but good.

I am Moroccan so i can tell you that the food is really good at MOMO's ! I love the couscous with chicken, the staff is so nice and the service is super. The decoration is amazing ! so romantic ! I can go on and on but i am getting kinda hungry and in the mood for couscous so i better stop. p.s the music is also perfect :)

Love the food,absoluately love the food. Lamb does not get better than this. The portions are large. Ambience is perfect. Tucked away in the back of the Mall is just perfect. Great selection of food and never dissapoints. I've been there many times.

I have no regrets about the place none whatsoever the whole Nine yards.. Great job Almaz.. though my only concern is the young guy that was working at the reception.. Lorenzo if am not mistaken.. He knew how to charm the ladies.. Professional and wellcoming he was.. You honestly did loose a gem.. One in a million would be able to match up to his charisma.....
