Diners can claim 25 percent off pasta and pizza between 6pm and 7pm on weekday evenings. Prices vary Timings: 6pm-7pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday)

The deal includes grilled fish and meat barbecued on the terrace, overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Dhs189 (soft drinks) Timings: 8pm-10.30pm (Sunday)

Rosso is refreshingly lively thanks to an adjoining drinking spot with generous happy hours and a gorgeous expanse of sea-view terrace. The food, however, disappoints. The non-eventful service expresses very little passion for the food, and on our last visit staff misguidedly recommended the under-seasoned, under-accompanied (two sticks of asparagus do not a tummy fill) and over-priced sea bass (Dhs135 equals highway robbery). To be safe, opt for pizzas, which are a little too bready at times, with toppings a little haphazard (the mozzarella has obviously been frozen and defrosted in clumps). However, cold cuts like parma are high quality. For a night out with friends, Rosso has an enviable location and atmosphere; just don’t expect to be wowed by the food.

We enjoiyed from foods and ambience. The small problem is on services. Rosso is a good resturant with so many customers, they need to have more waiters to have a better services. Any way thank you it was a nice night for my friend and I.

Amazing place!
Been there last week and I felt at home from the first time that the Manager Kafka welcome me at the door with a vigorous Buonasera.
Nice lounge around the bar with great food, great wine list with nice prices and very friendly service.

If you're looking for a place to spend a quiet evening with friends or girlfriend this and the right place!
You seem to be home and no one is pretentious, really unique but simple.
Advice, ask for antonio or kafka , they make a difference!

With a Chef from south of Italy and a manager from north….. it sound familiar!
Anytime we are homesick Rosso is the right place to go, amazing place, great bar and very very friendly staff. It gets very busy during summer months because the bar and dining area are quiet small.
A must try in Dubai. Will definitely recommend to friends and come back with visitors.

Great place, vibrant, fun with Dj and Live bands almost every day of the week and an Aperitivo Night every Wednesday evening with complimentary bar bites, great to meet up with friends plus I live very close to it!
Maybe a bit too busy on Thursday nights and you can fill it; staff is not walking but running and some time you wait a bit too long to get your food.
The team is doing a great job and all the managers includin the new Italian addition are very friendly and always ready to accommodate any type of request.

We have 2 kids and we thought that was a problem, and that’s how we felt in the majority of the restaurant around the city, however, it soon we arrived in Rosso we were welcome from the italian manager with a bonasera and guided to a nice table outside where the kid start running around, problem solve!!!

Beside the very warm welcome and family friendly, food and service were great. Great Spot, and on the end of JBR out of the bad traffic, exit 29!

It was our first time after we heard some friends talking about it and reading the reviews on Time Out. The restaurant is very simple, inside nice and cozy with a beautiful Al Fresco dining. I cannot remember the name of the manager but he guides trough the menu with a unique Italian accent, food simple and tasty as Italian cusine should be. We coming from Abu Dhabi but will recommend it to all our friends and we'll be back soon.

It was first time to rosso we were really impressed with rosso terrace. And the service was really excellent. And staff was very friendly. And i want to say the food is great . And i will be back soon in rosso....

I was in Rosso around one here ago and I have to say that the place improved quiet bit!
The staff looks more confident, relax and very friendly compare my last visit where they actually look scared! Music in place with a nice groove when we arrived but escaladed gradually, nice touch.

The recommended Italian venue in JBR !!

Great venue with indoor and outdoor as well smoking and no smoking area.
The bar provide wide selection of fine Italian wines.
The staffs are very friendly value for money.

Seafood soup and Pizza San Danielle are recommended.

I love the Aperitivo Night every wednesday evening.
Try the Aperol Spritz, accompanied with free assorted bruschette !!

Defenitely will come back !!

we love this restaurant. Whenever we have guests this is the best place to go: great ambience (seaview, live music), good food, extremely friendly staff and SO family friendly - the kids just run around. Unfortunately the prices are a bit too high to hang here every day, but we go at least once every 2 weeks as a special treat!

I was there for the first time about a week ago and seat on the terrace, and I felt like been in Italy!


Italian Chef and Manager, easy and tast food, the wine list needs some work but overall great place.

I’ll be back and recommend it to lots of friends, Bravi!

I was VERY impressed with Rosso!

- we arrived late, so missed the food & drink deals... can't really say much about that.
- we ate pizza... it was alright. could have been better for an "Italian Restaurant".
- the decor was nice, nothing extraordinary though.

- the set-up of the bar was good. it was big and you could access it from all 4 sides!
- really liked the music played by the DJ. Mainly 80's 90's, Reggae... (if you ask me, he can ditch the house and trance). Just a pity he was located in a hidden corner between a pillar and a wall. Took me a while to find him and therefor it felt more like a CD was running...
- the crowd was good too! mainly people beween late 20's and early 40's. mainly expats.

- the highlight for me were:
1) the ATMOSPHERE -> very lively (and loud, on a thu night)

2) the MANAGER (didn't see a name tag on him) -> i've been in dubai for 4 years and i have not seen a manager this attentive!!!
Not in burj al arab restaurants, nor in any other "normal" place!

It was super busy, but he managed to be everywhere, did not miss anything, was smart, friendly, funny... Super service! Just Incredible!

We enjoyed 3 nights out of our 8 day holiday at this resurant. It is exellent value for money on the meal deal and the food very good
