Feri Kasif Tehroon

Eccentric fast-food venue disappoints Reviews

It’s easy to mistake Feri Kasif Tehroon for a rather over-the-top estate agent (there seem to be a lot of these in this part of the marina), though the tables outside suggest otherwise. Duck inside and grab a menu and you’ll find everything from pizzas to burgers to skewered chicken hearts and liver. However, their speciality is the ‘special Iranian sandwiches’, which are similar to traditional New York pastramis, only… ‘sloppier’. Said sandwiches are served in club-like loaves and come bursting with beef mortadella, chicken, mayonnaise and crisps (seriously). However, as fun as these concoctions sound, they’re a little too soggy to be taken seriously and the ingredients aren’t of the highest quality. However, they could be just the ticket for anyone stumbling past after a night on the tiles.

You need to compare apples to apples. Not all Iranian restaurants offer the same food nor all Iranian sandwiches are alike. Feri kasif as the name suggest offers Unhelathy, fast food sandwiches that are indeed delicious. You are able to see in the menu what will be in your sandwich, so they do not make any false promises of giving you healthy sandwiches. So, if you choose to eat it, that is your choice. Just eat it and enjoy!

I dont agree with your review , when it says "Iranian Sandwich" , they are reffering to the typical sandwiches served at any fast food shop in Iran. te name ( or maybe even franchise) had been taken from a small fastfood place but very very popular with amazing sandwiches in Tehran.everyone from 12 to 50 years old knwos the place and perhaps seen "Feri" himself. we use to stand in line for alomost an hour in the middle of the night to get a peace of his magic.so the taste of these sandwiches not only brings back the old memory but its amazzziiiiiinnnnggg... and probably not for everyone !
im so ordering from tonight :)

If you knew that the name meant Dirty Sandwich, then you might have done a slightly different review. I've eaten there, and whilst it was nothing special, it was still OK. The menu is a bit hairy in places (think beef steak, beef tongue and beef brain sandwich!) but it shouldn't be viewed as anything other than a place to grab a sandwich with friends.

you had to try "panapa" or "topfood" sandwich or it's regular sandwiches.. plus the ingredients of each sandwich is mentioned in the menu, so you could choose what your taste is before commenting. The sandwiches are nothing cultural they are just unhealthy and greasy sandwiches which are very delicious and of-course not a good choice for healthy eaters. I go once a week there when it is my cheating day on diet :). Lol
