Just off the lobby, positioned along the sea-facing side of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Latitude is a family-friendly eatery with a reasonably-sized buffet, bearing dishes from Mongolia to Mexico. Though smaller in size than some other five-star hotel buffets, there is decent variety here, and the dishes, such as an Asian-style offering of broccoli and fried shrimp balls, are mostly tasty and inventive. Service at the live cooking stations can be a little slow, and you may find your patience tried at the crepe station in particular. Diners are mostly tourists and hotel guests, and it’s not much of a destination restaurant, but there’s little here to disappoint.
