Loui’s Restaurant
Downtown venue claims to serve something special for everyone 2 Reviews
Loui’s is an assault on the senses in every possible respect. Aesthetically, it’s totally mad (for a start, the ceiling is propped up by two enormous gold hands); acoustically it is unrelenting (blaring Lebanese pop music), and in terms of taste, it’s certainly eclectic. The front of the menu states there’s something for everyone at Loui’s, which translates as 12 pages of burgers, pasta, sushi, Lebanese and Mediterranean dishes. You could try the calamari or tuna rolls, though avoid the arayes. In short, Loui’s is very much hit and miss, which is probably because the restaurant tries to be ‘something for everyone’. Still, if you want to know where to go to see the biggest pair of gold hands there are in Dubai, here’s your place.
