In terms of location, there are few restaurants that could top chic Japanese eatery Armani/Hashi. Make sure to book a seat outside (weather permitting), nestled under the world’s tallest building, with unmatched views of the Dubai Fountains – the atmosphere is exquisite. The food doesn’t disappoint either. Portions are small, so expect to order an assortment of dishes. Starters include wagyu tataki drizzled with a ponzu-style dressing and scattered on a bed of greens. For something slighty more adventurous, order the quick-seared salmon fillet with truffles and crème fraîche or tuna and salmon tartar with caviar. Between dancing fountain shows (they light up to music every half hour) don’t forget to check out the dessert menu, which offers treats such as a devilishly good mango brulee with coconut ice cream.

We ordered 6 different dishes in our group dinner and they were all horrible!!! The fish smelled bad, the steak was dry and tasteless and the desserts not even appetizing. Big disappointment. Waste of time and money

It is the most unforgettable night for me because my husband and son have celebrated my birthday in Hashi/Armani. The atmosphere is excellent and the food is tasty. The price is a bit high but we have a big discount of 25% from VISA.

We visited as TIME OUT had given it an award for good dining but do not understand how!

NEVER go after a Friday brunch as they tend to run out of local japanese beers and the entire place has a feeling of not bothered anymore as we are worn out.

The food is exceedingly average - both thought YO SUSHI was better and the prices extortionate (we often frequent Okku and Zuma - so not complaining about upper end prices in general - just here)

To top it, wear thermal clothing as it is freezing in there - despite it being over 40 degrees outside.

Not worth it even to say you have been to the Armani Hotel

I had been looking forward to dining at Hashi for quite a while now. Needless to say the expectations I had built up before coming were quite high. The cuisine, although simple, the fine cuts of sashimi recommended by the chef were glorious as they melted into my mouth. Fresh and delicious ingredients seemed to be consistent in each dish and my palate was pleased with the dishes. However, upon wishing to speak to the restaurant manager, it was evident that he was not very knowledgeable on Japanese dishes and came from a sommelier background. This is disappointing to say the least, at a restaurant of this caliber, you would expect more from the head of such a prestigious outlet.

I have been to Hashi and I think its not the best Japanese restaurant in Dubai. But the location is perfect. The servise was good. For their price its reasonable becuase of the nice location in Burj Khalifa. I would recomend this resaurant for chiling in Dubai. Another thing that their SUSHI are not that quality that I expected from chef's specail restaurants.
I scale it from 7 FROM 10.

I visited the restaurant with my best friend and her husband who came to Dubai for their honeymoon. I really wanted them to have a great time in the most memorable moment in their life, and I chose Hashi restaurant. We really enjoyed the food, wonderful water show and never forgettable view over the window. Personally, I think the price is a little high, but the high quality food can make it up.
I will certainly come back whenever I want to spend time with someone special in my life.

I and my husband were amazed with the delicious japanese cuisine, nice view of Armani Hashi.

I hope I could go back to Hashi.. I miss all those chef's choice which was wonderful !!!! and cozy sofa with romantice candle light...

You should try Armani Hashi!!! You won't regret it!

I been in hashi with my fanmily...

food was really really what i love...

was really good nice time..

but i didn't have feeling that i'm in japanese restaurant...

Little disappointed about display...

only bamboo tree ,,,looks like beijing olympic...

Anyway if i can have the hashi food in nice japases restaurant...

It will be awesome!!!

food excellent too much passion can be seen,
service good ,
ambience not up too mark need some more touch up in ambience and display we dont get the feeling of japan as Armani stands for simplicity and setting examples. so this what i feell rest everything is fine .thanks.

i been in Hashi last week. it was wonderful..and it was good as a new style of japnese cuisine.

I had really good time in there with good food, music and sake as well

Still i can't forget the robata yaki menu char coal combo was exellent!!
Yammi!!! i wanna be there again soon.!!!

before i read time out review and then last week i went to HASHI.
first brend "Armani"hotel i am very impress and respect.
when i go to lobby very dark and simple nobody greeting to me.and i don't speak english very well however i want to tasting my country food in HASHI.
enterence dj box very surprise ,never saw in japan very exciting.
and then table setting very simple and very small space i do not know how to setting on the table. next i was order soup,sashimi,sushi,maki,tempura,robata,dessert....etc
my tasting time very happy because, japanese food it's perfact in dubai(hashi) same quilty,tast ,,,,
but i suggest for service uniform very urgly because looks differant .
it's ok alredy my mouse very happy.i will come back again sure.

We decided to try out the new hot spot in town. Seeing that the Burj Khalifa is an icon, the hotel was very bland compared to the "iconic" exterior. Typical Armani, everything was dark grey and made the ambience very dull and boring. Service was good as we had a filipino waiter serving us ( cant remember his name ) and his menu knowledge was exceptional, could explain everything on the menu that we needed to know. Food however was over priced compared the size of the portions and wasnt very appleasing. Pressentation was good and the desserts were yummy especially the chocolate mousse thingy but other than that, i dont think we would be going back again though.

decor/ambience was below mediocre, considering the magnificence of this bldg landmark... doesn't reflect traditional nor modern japanese, looks more like a diner... best for business dinners or lunches as the the staff is overly attentive and fast...somewhat annoying if you're having a relaxed dinner with friends as every conversation is interrupted with a waiter asking you if they could take the plate away as if they only have 10 of those saucers in the kitchen :)
stay away from the black cod if you don't want to be dissappointed... its not the same 'melt in your mouth' experience :(
my friend ordered the lamb chops and was very fatty...
stick to the sushi's, sashimi's and maki's... they're very good value for money.
highly recommend the mango creme caramel...
i don't think i'll be going back there anytime soon nor will be recommending it to anyone because if i wanted fancy japanese, i have atleast 4 options and if i wanted cheap and chearful, there's atleast another 5 other options...
when i read the TimeOut review, i was a bit apprehensive but after dining there...'Hashi' now your point! :)

Food is so amazing and Chefs are friendly. Nice music and beverages.
However in terms of service I think they need to train and improve more.
Very classy and stunning ambience.
Absolutely go back again.

It was very great time with me . I have been to the other Japanese cuisine restaurant before but Armani Japanese resaurant is something special than the other. i brought my family and old grandmother when i entered in room, it was very quite and clean.
They make some special food for my children.

last night i have been thare.very nice view and nice music,from Chef fresh wasabi amazing.food is 50% traditional 50% morden i got traditional soup " Dobing mushi " fantastic...never try in dubai .

Head chef recomend is "Salmon skin roll" really Good taste.thank you very much Hashi .Good job

It's a fabulous restaurant to have fusion and authentic Japanese food, and sensuous place. You should try Hashi!!!

This place has one of the best and creative Japanese menus and the best part is, it is actually more affordable than Zuma or Nobu (it's not really 500 Dhs +) - Which is unexpected considering the location (Most Luxurious Boutique Hotel in the tallest building in the world right beside the Dubai fountain)
I enjoyed the crispy kimchi & spicy tuna maki & the soft shell crab maki.
And there is no doubt you will find something you have never eaten and guaranteed, it will taste good.
The chef did a great job and set the bar for other Japanese restaurants in town.

I have been there last week, for the new resteraunt, its pretty good, lovely stuff ,amazing food, live DJ enjoy with the whole night fountain view. and Its Armani ! bravo !!!! ciao .belli !!!
