Set at the heart of Downtown Dubai, opposite the mighty Burj Khalifa and just in front of the Al Manzil hotel, as far as location goes - apart from the busy adjacent road - Boulevard has it pretty much nailed (as its name highlights). Tip: be sure to ask for an outdoor table once it becomes available: while the interior of dark woods and Parisian-flavoured wall hangings is quaint, the view and ambience outside is well worth a wait. The food is also better than you might expect: the foie gras salad is fresh and just the right side of rich, while the crêpes are filling (courtesy of the generous side salad). Perfect for a sunny morning with a coffee and the paper.
