Anyone familiar with subcontinental cuisine will know to expect a satisfying meal with Mughlai flavours at Chutneys. And it is just that: satisfying... just nothing special. Whoever thought of having a restaurant with seats overlooking a hotel lobby should really take a long, hard look at their career plans.
There is the option of dining further inside, and that area is (in fairness) decorated rather well, but its proximity to the live entertainment makes dinner conversation difficult. Service ranges from overtly casual to absent, and while starters are about average, mains are a step higher. Chutneys is worth visiting if you’re in the neighbourhood and care about food, and nothing else.
