Someone, somewhere in Bengaluru, thought it would be a good idea to combine curry and toast. The result: Curry Toast, a quirky and hugely successful Indian fast food chain that has found its way to Dubai to serve an assortment of curries served along what can only be described as thick French toast. The pièce de résistance, however, is the ’curry burger’ – spicy minced lamb with green peppers sandwiched in two ever-so-slightly sweet baps. This is comfort food at its finest – the perfect remedy for a hangover or, failing that, just a great greasy snack. There’s even an ice cream counter in the restaurant – a perfect way to finish a quirky yet wholly enjoyable dining experience.
