Situated in the lobby of the Kempinski Hotel, it appears to be a bit of a through-way, but is in fact a fairly upscale lunchtime eatery of its own. A harpist sits at the centre; a buffet tables teases from the left, trendy clear plastic chairs are scattered everywhere and varying art pieces hang from the walls. The menu, meanwhile, is punchy: pick from salads, sandwiches and main courses, accompanied by a fresh juice or hot drink. Aspen Café might not blow your tastebuds away, but the service is very sweet, the location is handy (right opposite Ski Dubai), and it's slightly more refined than some of the mall's other lunching options.
