From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2008

This is a good looking restaurant, with its stone wall carvings and beautifully laid tables. Unfortunately the service is a little erratic; we’ve known starters to arrive with main courses, and some dishes never turn up at all.

Thankfully, the tabbouleh is fresh and citrussy, and the kibbeh are perfectly crisp, packed with rich, fragrant mince. The shrimps are juicy and complemented by a creamy cocktail sauce. If you’re still hungry, order the ashta, a thick dollop of gooey clotted cream and sweet honey, or the halawet el jiben – semolina parcels with cream.

This Lebanese restaurant – a chain in its home country – is a good bet, and unlike some mall eateries has an alcohol licence. They just need to work on the service.

I'm Lebanese and i find Karam Beirut the best Lebanese restaurant in all of Dubai. I've tried all the other well known Lebanese restaurants in Dubai and honestly nothing comes even close to it.
The food is superb!!

Awful behavior of the tactless and rude doorkeeper, low service after all made us disappointed with this particular branch. First time we've been served so poorly and offensively since arrived to the UAE...

Travelled to Dubai in October 2009. Travelled with very fussy chefs but all agreed the food was fantastic, so good we went there again the next night. Price a lot more reasonable than surrounding restaurants. We found service was good.
