Fibber Magee’s may not be much to look at – it’s definitely on the dark and dank side – but it always manages to attract a cheery crowd (especially on Tuesdays, when it has a pub quiz).

While the grub is standard British/Irish pub fare – fish and chips, beans on toast, burgers – what the kitchen does, it does well.

The batter-fried hammour is light and moist, while the chips are fat and crisp. In other words, just as you’d want your plate of fish and chips to be. While the calorie-conscious should eat before they come, vegetarians need not fear, as the menu boasts some tempting meat-free options as well.

Manager is very unethical, rude and with an attitude! He needs more training for his manners and does not at all know how to deal with the customer! where can you find a manager that preferred to throw the food instead of serving it to the customer and make the customer happy.. we have called before going to this restaurant and said they accept vouchers, then we came sat and before ordering, spoke to the waiters if they do accept vouchers and they said yes and so they took our orders and serve the drinks,, when food is almost ready to serve manager came and said that the voucher is not accepted! what the hell? we could have paid it all without using the voucher but the approach of the manager is totally rude! it doesn't deserve it at all!

Went on saturday night the worst place I have ever been the waiter got the order wrong on how we want meat cooked one was over cooked and the other was under cooked and to top it off food was cold. I asked the waiter and the manager spoke to me said not his problem.
Main issue was with the attitude of the manager who was rude to myself and I also witnessed this with other customers. Other staff were pleasant and helpful
Disappointing experience: Restaurant manager unwelcoming, very sarcastic and rude.
