Latino House is one of those truly rare finds in Dubai. It has an intimate setting away from the construction and everyday hustle of the city, and the food and service are equally impressive.
Request a table outside on the terrace and you can look up at the stars and listen to the trickle of the fountain as you peruse the menu. Mexican staples such as tacos and burritos are present, but kick things off with the tapas selection.
The chilli shrimp is an excellent choice of main, featuring four of the monster-sized sea creatures resting on a bed of tangy mango and coriander chutney. The venison served with foie gras is, likewise, tender and succulent, and all mains are served with corn, rice and beans. End your meal with the panqueques (crepes with chocolate sauce and rice pudding) or chocolate soufflé if you still have room.
