Nestled on the side of a marina, this low-lit, cosy little joint offers an excellent place for a romantic, alfresco meal, relaxed conversation with friends or just an opportunity to glower with impotent jealousy at the nearby yachts.

Y’know, if you want to. Between the stylish but relaxed decor, the varied clientele and the option to move to the bar’s slightly more formal interior, all options are covered.

While the menu is hardly the largest in Dubai, or the most imaginative, the food is impeccable and reasonably priced, with the crispy-coated salmon being a highlight, alongside the juicy beef burgers and tremendous desserts – all of which come highly recommended. The staff are efficient and polite, and open to special dietary requests.
