Chomp Chinese before a City Centre cinema visit 1 Reviews

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
Convenience is probably China Times’ biggest asset. ‘Yes, we are a cut above the rest of the food court’ should be its motto.
You’ll certainly feel it as you’re directed to your seat and gaze around at the dead-eyed patrons of the neighbouring Chilis. However, the options for a tasty, quick, pre-cinema Chinese in City Centre are few and far between, so with that share of the market firmly wrapped up, you would be forgiven for fearing that it might let itself go.
But China Times is a safe choice: the dishes come quick and tasty and, apart from having to crowbar the occasional prawn out of its shell, without any fuss. Eating in any food court is rarely a luxurious experience, but if you can distract your customers by laying satisfying dish after dish before them, then you’ve done your job.
Few could confuse China Times with anything but a convenient pit stop, but if you’re milling hungrily around City Centre, waiting for your film to begin, there really is no competition.
