From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
Last year, Noble House swept up at the Time Out restaurant awards. It’s easy to understand why, this restaurant is one of the most original Chinese dining concepts we’ve ever seen, and it offers some of the best food in the city.
However, it also offers some rather plain, overpriced dishes. Sure, black truffle dumplings, a wagyu pancake and some of the most succulent lamb ribs we’ve ever tried warrants dropping a few hundred dirhams, but the same can’t be said for average stir-fry noodles and some rather lacklustre lobster.
Still, the setting is amazing, and there is still a sense of ceremony that comes with the meal, whether it comes from a kung fu master pouring tea behind his back from a metre-long spout, or the ice cream that comes with billowing dry ice tumbling out of the bowl.
