Peacock Chinese Restaurant

The food at Peacock certainly doesn’t stand out, especially when compared to the likes of Zheng He’s, Noble House, or even the humble yet authentic Lan Kwai Fong.
While the restaurant isn’t really worth a special trip (it suffers from its location next to the bustling hotel lobby and noisy bar), the fare does make for an adequate takeaway – though, be warned, many dishes veer on the heavy side.
Prawns in chilli and garlic sauce are a standout, and many of the fried dishes (spring rolls and dumplings, for instance) make good morning-after fodder. But if you’re looking for something more unique, there are plenty of other places in town that offer more interesting and authentic Chinese fare.
