From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009

This stalwart of the Karama scene is immensely popular with north Indian families and Time Out too.

What comes out of this little hole in the wall are some of the best puris in the city, at around Dhs5 a pop. Head inside for the A/C in summer, or eat street side with everyone else in winter. A cracker, and highly recommended.

visited yesterday after reading about it on here. Location on road just before Trade Centre road . You have to purhcase tokens ; take them to respective counter and then find table to eat it - They call it self service. Food good and tasty and you can ask cook to make it less hot etc . Prices average around 6AED per plate , would need atleast one each for a main meal . We ordered 4 different ones so we could all share - also had fresh melon juice which was good . Variety of deserts which we did not try but will be visiting again as it was so good!
