The Flaming Revolution
International cuisine for the office crowd at Dubai Outsource Zone 1 Reviews

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
The Flaming Revolution is located in Outsource Zone – no, Time Out had never heard of it either. A small cluster of lights in the inky blackness of the road to Academic City signals the ‘zone’, but little else would draw you to it.
In the evening, the whole place is deserted. Grilled steaks, chicken, burgers, pies and salads are on the menu – but, unfortunately, come dinner time, half of it’s not in the kitchen.
On Time Out’s visit they had also completely run out of desserts. It was a shame we couldn’t sample more, as the staff are friendly, and what we did have wasn’t bad; the mezze is tasty with a twist, and the chicken mains arrive sizzling – the meat is not as tender as it could be, but the spicy version has a nice kick to it.
It is obvious that The Flaming Revolution simply doesn’t cater to anything other than the lunchtime rush – but given the deserted surroundings, why would it? Still, it obviously serves a purpose for the daytime office crowd, and if you ever find yourself inexplicably stuck out somewhere between Route 66 and the Al Ain highway, you know there is somewhere to stop for a bite.
