A firm favourite with curry hounds, Hyderabad House is perched on a terrace overlooking the frenzied Karama lanes below.

Dishes are traditional Hyderabadi offerings, like a talawa gosht that packs a fiery punch with chilli-fused lamb in a red, tandoori spiced sauce. Mop it all up with some steaming naan or parathas and have yourself a value-for-money Indian feast in the heart of Dubai’s Indian quarter.
