Lunch deal

Choose between the Arabic or Indian three-course business lunch menu. Dhs75 (three courses) Timings: 12.30pm-3.30pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Friday brunch

Offering an à la carte menu from the Hilton’s top chefs, including roasts, Yorkshire puddings, eggs, pancakes and unlimited selected mixed bubbly beverages. Dhs295 (unlimited house beverages) Timings: 12.30pm-3.30pm (Friday)

From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009

Perhaps the link to its fine-dining, Gordon Ramsay-owned neighbour, Verre, has influenced the food for the better.

Or perhaps it’s the fact that Verre’s chef, Matt Pickop, oversees the menu here as well. Regardless, given the high quality of the food at Glasshouse, the bill at the end of the night is always surprisingly low.

The mussels, served in a divinely lemony broth, make a hearty and comforting main course. Lovers of pork belly are also in for a treat, as the variant here is meltingly delicate. The gooey, teeth-clinchingly sweet banoffee cheesecake makes a decadent end to a splendid meal. Friday brunches – a cut above the usual Dubai booze-fests – are also a popular option here, as are the Monday drink deals (Dhs10 per drink when you order two courses.

Basically a grand spot if you want Verre-quality food at a lower price.

loved the ambience at the glasshouse. Food was excellant as was the service. The assistant managerGaynor and his staff were more than welcoming. Would o back here again as had an excellant day at the brunch. Excellant value

We have used this restaurant on our last four visits to Dubai. Excellent menu, staff and service. The one Dirham drink deal on Mondays and Wednesdays is very good value, and the red wine I had was very passable. See you next year. Special thanks to Javeed brilliant service from this gentleman as normal,

Came here last night. After taking orders, warm bread rolls were brought sans butter or anything else to go with it. Pinacolada took time in coming and when it did, it wasn't with pineapple as ordered but a red coloured one. To thier credit the took it back and brought the correct one.
For starters, we had mushroom and garlic soup which was good and another dish as starters made from ham, tomato ans cheese which was OK. Mains were. Chicken (?) confit with ratatouile and lamb roast. Both were bland and needed to be augmented with the salt and pepper. The portion were relatively smaller than the price suggested.

I had expected more bang for the money but got only a whimper.

Had been there last year and had mussels for starters which turned out to be a mountain of mussels rising above a bed of soup made with Guiness. Very nice. The accompanying 2 slices of bread were dry, as though they have been left exposed for too long but were put to good use by diping them in the soup, which was high on salt. Main course was 2 slices of Haddock on a bed of mashed potatoes. Was an average affair, though after the salty starters, this one appeard slightly low on salt.

White wine(or red wine, gin, whiskey,etc.) for only Dhs.1/glass on Mondays & Wednesdays. The white wine(Stanley) tasted better than the wine I had at Verre, the other Gordon Ramsey fine dining joint across the corridor.

The price was reasonable considering it's a Gordon Ramsey experience. The starter and main course with 3 glasses of wine on a Wednesday night cost Dhs.163 all inclusive whereas a similar 2 course fine dining experience at Verre across the corridor with a glass of wine put me back by Dhs.462.

The ambience was downmarket and it looked like an attempt to make Gordon Ramsey dining affordable to more people. The service was very good and attentive with no unwanted interruptions.

All in all a satisfying experience where I would like to visit again.

I found this restrauant to have the ambience of a coffee shop and the food was poor. I felt cheated by the promotion for the Dhs10 drinks promotion.
I would definately not be going back.

I recently went to the Glasshouse for a big group dinner with friends and we had the best time. It was also quite refreshing to visit another part of Dubai!

We went all out and had starters, mains and desserts all of which were absolutely fantastic and quite a delight to see a significant change in the menu as I have been going to the Glasshouse for quite some time!

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant to all

Wow I can't believe that last comment!! Sounds like somebody is trying to get rid of the competetition, if you ask me! I have been to the Glasshouse a number of times over the last year and I have to say it does nothing but get better!! Keep up the good work guys!!
I'm looking forward to my next visit.
