The home of hot budget curries in Karama Discuss this article
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
Fiery, filling and comforting – exactly what a good curry should be, and exactly what they are at this popular Karama joint, which has a barbecue station on the street and booth-style seating inside.
There are a couple of standout dishes on the menu, which boasts a good array of Punjabi classics like dahl makhani – stewed for hours overnight, and the chicken handi.
Meals are served up with lightening speed and plonked on the table with little fanfare along with slightly oily naan, but you’ll be too busy gobbling down the spicy goodness to pay attention. If it’s too spicy, down it with a sweet or salty lassi or carrot juice, and breathe deeply.
