From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
The Spice Island brunch is what Dubai legends are made of. It’s not so much the quality of food that sets this buffet apart, as the sheer quantity of it.
There are tables dedicated to cuisines from every corner of the world, so should you want your English roast nestling up to a heaping fajita, then this is the place for you. While brunch is the restaurant’s most popular meal, the venue has a large buffet every night of the week.
Cheap prices and half price for kids make Spice Island a winner with families, while the all-inclusive drinks package makes this spot ever-popular with the twenty-something expat community.
While there is nothing really inspiring about the spread here (the mezze and curries are pretty standard), if your idea of a good time is filling up and boozing up, you could do a lot worse.
