From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
Colourful plates bearing fresh fish and soy beans whiz about on a conveyor belt that snakes around the entire restaurant, and the sushi chef cuts up the latest catch in the centre.
Meanwhile, patrons distractedly watch Japanese anime on giant screens while occasionally plucking up passing dishes.
Price depends on the colour of your plate: tamago (a sweet egg omeletteis on the uber-pricey purple plate (Dhs50), while red snapper sashimi is a yellow-plate special (Dhs25). The sushi here is very good, if not at the level of some of the Japanese haute-dining chains that have recently opened. Still, the sashimi offerings are delicate and fresh, with a reasonable variety presented on those belts.
