Junsui
Asian restaurant in the Burj Al Arab 2 Reviews
From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009
Junsui may be the best value restaurant in the Burj Al Arab, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bargain. Even by Dubai standards, Dhs495 is a lot to pay for a buffet (pre-booze). Granted, there are 12 live cooking stations, meaning the food is fresh, and, by buffet standards, it shows a high level of creativity (cheeseburger sushi, anyone?).
Also, the breadth of options is impressive, though the theme is decidedly Oriental. However, in spite of the wagyu steak and duck pancake offerings, there is no getting around the fact that Junsui is a buffet, and, though the price may match some of Dubai’s five-star restaurants, the quality never will.
