From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009

You could play it safe and order a kebab, houmous, and hot, crispy flatbread at Arbel. Or you could live on the edge and order a plate of lamb’s testicles or Iraqi bacha – a bowl of broth and mashed up sheep’s head.

Either way, Deira’s Al Muteena Street is the place to be if you’re looking for amazing Iraqi kebabs and lesser-known Iraqi dishes. This kebab house won’t win any decor awards; but you can’t fault the portion sizes and the staff are friendly.

Patrons are a mostly male contingent, so be prepared for harmless staring if you’re a member of the fairer sex. But don’t be so vain; they’re probably more interested in your steaming portion of lamb knackers.

Hi,
Went to arbel iraqi restaurant. Have had iraqi kebabs in places like Raghdan, and samad which are on rigga street. Samad is a nice and decent place, where as raghdan is more comparable to arbel. Nearly the same taste on all these places for the iraqi kebab speciality but frankly speaking arbel is over priced for the place Samad surely a better bet !!!!!

The Best Iraqi Restaurant in Dubai. Great grills, especialy the Iraqi Kabab and the livers (Me-Lag). The Laban and Iraqi tea are great too!
