From Time Out Dubai Eating Out 2009

Located as it is in one of Dubai’s older, slightly less glitzy hotels, it’s easy to overlook the charms of a restaurant such as this, but to do so is a mistake. Fish and shellfish are packed on ice for diners to choose and have cooked to their liking.

The selection is fresh and wide ranging, while the addition of a vegetable ‘market’ (again, select your ingredients and cooking style and the rest is up to the chef) is a nice touch. Staff here are incredibly friendly without falling into obsequiousness, and a number of special all-you-can-eat deals running through the week should be packing the punters in.

That wasn’t the case on our last visit, which is a shame, because this has to remain one of the best bargain meals in Dubai. We’d come again for the under-floor aquarium alone.

This was one of the most enjoyable meals I have had in Dubai. Excellent value for money, ate like a queen. Excellent selection of fish. Staff all very friendly and attentive. Will def be going back.

We went here for my husband's birthday. Made a reservation and after some time they called me back to check if i would like some bday cake. Good idea since I haven't thought of that. I am surprised that they are giving the vanilla flavored cake as complimentary.

Real value for money for AED 111 per pax, eat all you can. My family are joking that after all the seafoods we've eaten that night, it would take 6 months before we will try eating seafoods again.

Service is very good and fast, though we were one of the early customers(we arrived at 07:30PM). Around 9PM, I heard some of the guests complaining that their food takes too long to be served. So I think better to be there early.

Overall, we will definitely be back..

one of the best meals out that I've had since coming to Dubai. Friendly and efficient service and wonderful, fresh seafood. Shame it was so quiet when we went as it definitely deserves to be busier. We will definitely be back.
