The food at this Lebanese eatery doesn’t break any culinary ground, but diners will be won over by the friendly staff and the peaceful alfresco terrace; perfect for smoking shisha and watching the swaying hips of the belly dancer.

The menu is packed with typical Lebanese fare, with enough meaty grills and kebabs to feed an army and every cold and hot mezze under the sun. It’s hard to find fault with Al Basha, particularly after sitting on the palm-tree-lined terrace, inhaling the scent of apple-flavoured shisha.
