With space-age plastic chairs and see-through tables, this modern Lebanese eatery basks in a green-hued light that should get you in the mood for a jaunt down to nearby nightclub Chi. And – with a contemporary feel and well-stocked bar replete with a flair bartender – Mint is the perfect pre-Chi dinner spot.

Staff are eagle eyed and attentive, without hovering about or being overbearing, and, while its location in the middle of somewhat eerie Al Nasr Leisureland means the place might be near empty, the menu boasts a decent range of Lebanese grub to suit every palate, from houmous to fattoush to mixed grills, with more daring mains like the spicy, succulent, pomegranate-drizzled wood bird.
