Trek has become a huge cycle hub in the city. You can find it at the start of Al Qudra’s 50km track loop where they offer a variety of bikes to hire from hybrids and road bikes to tri bikes, with aluminium and carbon frame options. A huge range of apparel, accessories and bike parts are also for sale. Booking ahead is essential as the shop gets busy very quickly and early, but Trek makes it incredibly easy: just text ahead with your height, or the size of bike required for each member of the group (050 105 0685). If you have your own bike, Trek have a fully operational workshop for repairs and servicing.
If you’re looking for a new bike, Trek’s collection spans road, mountain and city and you can find specially tailored bikes for cross country cycling, mountain biking, endurance racing, triathlons and more. It’s worth checking out their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TREKUAE) for details of new bike and accessory arrivals.
Friendly and helpful, the folks at Trek are enthusiastic cyclists and on hand to answer any questions you might have whether you’re training for a race, looking to increase your fitness levels or if it’s your first time on the track and you’re after a leisurely cycle.
